I do a lot of hiking and exploring. I wanted a simple gallery designed to tell
the stories of a trip.
Photos organized by date and trip with full page viewing and download
functionality.
I wanted to make a presentation of the entire 'web-book'
to captivate and pull people into the stories.
This was fairly javascript and css intensive. Photos would enlarge and display a
title with mouse-hover.
Each 'Trip' has it's own primary photo, which then became the background image
until another 'Trip' is selected.
All the photos you see in these screenshots were taken by me.

I made three formats that each trip could use.
- The first was a hero-photo followed by smaller tiles.
- Second was a photo only feed like this one.
- The final option was a timeline layout which moved horizontally
Personal projects are always a lot of fun when I find time for them. I found that the simplicity of this site came out beautifully.
Thanks for reading!
